SOPRANO'S FANS -- NSFW

This is awesome. This guy is incredibly talented. If you didn't watch the Sopranos you won't appreciate it.

Note: NSFW means Not Safe For Work. This not hardcore or anything but there is the f-word. Don't click on it if that offends you. If you do click on it and are offended, PM Heidi, this was all her idea.

he sounds like him, i liked the second one better. i didnt like the abrupt ending to the series tho, i was really anticipating the ending, but that just left everthing up in the air. what are your thoughts on it, the ending i mean.

I thought it was brilliant. I wrote to the critic in the daily newspaper in the state and he adopted my theory.

I think it was designed to give you one moment of insight into Tony Soprano's life. It was all there, the shady hitmen-like guys at the bar, the family dinner, cops, all the stuff he had to worry about every second of his life. So as a viewer, with the suspense of the series ending, you got into his head wondering what was going to happen, and balancing all those things going on.

Brilliant.

PS: then it was essential to just click off the show. It showed you that all the plot BS wasn't what Chase was about, it was about that one moment he could get you to relate to what a person really is going through. It was like the whole series led up to that insight, and the rest were just idle story lines.

You're right. And now it's impossible to imagine any other ending. Ending an artistically successful series without just losing the soul of the work must be one of the hardest challenges of the entire undertaking. I'm reminded of Six Feet Under and (different of course) the last Bob Newhart show. Seinfeld.

...and...(cough)....they didn't kill everyone off for a future movie. Even Sylvio might be able to come back.

Hadn't thought of that. The first line of "Sopranos:The Movie":

"Hey, could we get the check here?"
