After wagering this a.m. I paused for a minute to check out other people's scores by level.
Unclej has just reached 98...which means that later this month he may make 100!
I hope sploofus is planning a telegram -- or a party.

As good a time as any to ask this:

The FAQs intimate that as one progresses to higher levels the
questions get more difficult. I'm only at level 25, but I can't
say I've seen an appreciable difficulty in TQOTD. Have those
of you at loftier heights seen evidence of this?

I seem to have forgotten how to proofread...

"an appreciable increase in difficulty"

I think someone mentioned that a while back and it seems the original intent was to make the questions harder but I don't know if that was too difficult or time-consuming to manage or if the powers that be just had a change of heart. As it is now, it's my understanding there is no difference in the questions given for any level.

Maybe the showdown questions get harder?

No, but the Showdown opponents tend to.

If for no other reason, when you initiate a Showdown with someone with a few tens of thousands of points, they could very well have long since lost interest in Sploofus and left. On the other hand, most of the multi-billionaires are still here building up their fortunes.
