Any tomato based pasta served with Jif PB on italian bread.

Chopped fig newtons on vanilla ice cream.

Toasted bagels topped with butter & maple syrup

And I second the motion on PB and Miracle Whip.

I make these for The King when he stops by

Elvis Presley's Grilled Peanut Butter
and Banana Sandwich
2 slices of white bread
2 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter
1 small ripe banana mashed
2 tablespoons butter
Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread and the mashed banana on the other. Press the slices gently together. Melt the butter (or to be truly Elvis-like, melt bacon fat!), over low heat in a small frying pan. Place the sandwich in the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. Eat it with a glass of buttermilk.

Please note: Elvis tended to eat 12-15 sandwiches a sitting! So belly up!

With HOT pickles or sour green tomatoes
and a Chocolate Egg Cream

Diva, I loved the King like you, but hot pickles or sour tomatoes and a chocolate egg.
My God, he didn't need Doctor Nick to die.

No, no, no, Chocolate egg CREAM - like a milkshake.

Whoever fed him a dozen of those sandwiches killed him as sure as Nick did.

My son: French Fries and ranch dressing
Me: I am a Miracle Whip freak. But I prefer mustard with my PB sandwich.

One year after Mardi Gras when my daughter was small, she treated me to her very own dessert creation. She popped one of her moonpies into the microwave on a paper plate just long enough to heat it up, and it turned into the most delectable gooey mess! I've craved them ever since. They're best when served with love and hugs, and almost taste like s'mores.

My husband's favorite is peanut butter and jelly with bologna on rye. Yuck!!!! Oh yeah, with sweet pickles on the side and a tall glass of milk. He has to make this one himself...

I notice pickles a lot on this list. Are they really that weird, or just that tasty?

I thought of a few more that are actually strange (or *I* thought so, anyway) Tunafish salad on grilled and buttered english muffins with green olives on top. My husband also loves chocolate chip cookies dipped in cream cheese frosting which I find on a par with butter sticks dipped in granulated sugar but, nonetheless, is VERY good. We've also tried gingersnaps and caramel frosting and peanutbutter cookies with fudge frosting. Not for your average health conscious person!

Health, schmealth! I'll eat old combat boots if you put enough caramel sauce on 'em.

Smoke, you need to try fried pickles. Drizzle caramel sauce on 'em if you like, but they're yummy with Ranch dressing.

I crave really thick, dark, chocolatey beer.

plain ruffles chips are delicious tucked into a pb & honey sandwich or dipped into ketchup
hot french fries dipped in a real strawberry shake
spaghetti w/any red sauce served with canned peaches so the peach juice gets all mixed into the spaghetti...mmmmm...
And I haven't had this since I was a kid, but sometimes I really crave a peanut butter and bologna sandwich

My dad had 2 bizarro sandwiches - one was mayonnaise, bananas & pepper, and the other was peanut butter & soy sauce.

joee, yup i love really fresh bread, bit of vegie, and lettuce, beautiful, i also like chocolate and chips, the cold chips, not the hot ones, but my daughter, when she was little, loved dipping her mcdonalds (apologies for) chips into their yummy chocolate icecream.

Although I find catsup on eggs disgusting, lots of folks like them that way. My all time favorite sandwich is soft white bread with butter and hot salted homemade french fries. Loved it as a child, but haven't indulged in white bread or homemade fries in years.

I know this sounds really, really odd... When I was pregnant, I craved the chalk that lines baseball fields. I read that others have this same craving. I think it has something to do with needing extra calcium. Yuk!!!

BLEEPY, If you ate any kind of marking chalk, you ate limestone and some other chemicals that will eat holes in your clothes. My mother beat my fanny more than once when I played ball.

Hey Lodi - you'd probably like what they have down at our local place - Canton is dry, but there is a place just outside that only has Texas wines - which is allowed because it's agricultural - They sponsored our gala last week and I took them their sign, and the owner let me do a little wine tasting - not my cup of tea (wine) but he had a chocolate port - going to buy my mom a bottle for her birthday - it was interesting...

Hot buttered popcorn and ice cream bon-bons. Yummy!

Take a little bite of the bon-bon, dip it into the popcorn and pop that delicious piece into your mouth!

Forget what they're called - pepajoos maybe? - but those hot, sweet chilli peppers stuffed with dark chocolate truffles, served with cold Guinness.

I need to go and lie down now.

Straightforward banana & cheese.
Seems so obvious to me, but my family think I'm mad!
