DON'T BOTHER WRITING WORLD TRIVIA CATEGORY QUIZZES FOR A WHILE

The World new quiz category is pretty well taken by a new quiz writer. Twelve of the 15 Newest Quizzes spots on the front page have been taken up by "Think You Know Your County Seat" quizzes, and so far only 2 of the 50 states have been addressed. Eight went live yesterdat (March 19th) and so far 4 today.

Wow. Wonder how many of us have been sitting around just dying for a quiz about our county seat? I don't think we have one. My city is a whole county.

Darn, hope I didn't give one away!

Is there a "Trivial" Award?

It's not so dire. Delaware has only three counties (but just two at high tide), so that won't be enough for a quiz.

OK, have any of you taken the quiz? I just took one of them. I got 30 percent. This person has been a member since December and taken nearly 300 quizzes. He knows the format. I can't believe a college student would think these were trivia quizzes. Are we guinea pigs for some class project? Smaug, you usually have an answer for all of these things; what's your take on this? Or is it just a kid trying to cut corners on writing quizzes?

Think it's a waste of space, personally. Many of us like geography or the world category and now, we have to forget about it. And responses show, everyone is avoiding like the plague. Shame. Needs to be restricted or spaced out a bit. IMHO.

Is anyone working on moths native to county seats?

According to the details on each quix, "There are 3,141 counties in the United States, including Washington, DC, independent cities, parishes in Louisiana, and boroughs and census areas in Alaska". That translates to 314 quizzes. It's gonna be a long spring. And summer.

I noticed that one particular person has taken every one of those quizzes and has scored 100% on every one of them. She must know her county seats very well. Just a thought.

I've started series quizzes that have a lot of takers on one word movie titles, but have yet to finish - someone has a lot of time to put out that many quizzes - but one word movie titles don't amount to that much - I haven't gone to look, but maybe it's just a new person excited about an outlet - as for the 100% - hey, I'm going to google (if I ever have the time to take them) - maybe it'll be me up there too

Why do most US states seem to have more counties than England?
Unfair!

My opinion-
We are very provincial. We learned that from the British during colonization.

And we have a larger land-mass to express ourselves.
