With all the news about Obama's Passport files being breached, I wonder what these files contain?

My passport is expired but aside from the original documents a person uses to apply for a passport, I can't imagine what would be in the file. Maybe a record of countries visited?

Or the number of times he traveled abroad under the guise of actually working.

The fact that some people broke the law and snooped at the files doesn't mean that there's anything interesting in them, just that they hoped there would be.

Back when Clinton first ran for President some bonehead Republican without authorization peaked into his files hoping to find something he could use to derail his chances of winning. He didn't find anything, and the fact that these passport breaches with Obama didn't make the news until months later show that nothing of any interest was found there either.

The only thing to get out of these news reports is that some people have no respect for the law or even common decency when it comes to politics.

Well, another thing it shows is that the system works to catch those who would pry illegally.

One good thing about Leap Year. It brings out the snakes in politics every four years.

Again- a case of "contractors" hired by the government.

Outsource this- outsource that. The race to the bottom.

[They worked for a Virginia-based company called Stanley Inc., according to the Associated Press.]
