Now no one else has to be bored with my weekly updates.

You go, Girl! I'm happy to hear all about Idol and Dancing With the Stars!

No one talked about "Celebrity Apprentice," another guilty pleasure. The obnoxious judge on America's Got Talent, Piers Morgan, won over country singer Trace Adkins. He was a pretty snarky guy but he made the most money. I used to like this show when they focused on how they were going to pull off projects. This series boiled down to who has the most celebrity friends who can come through for you at the last minute to donate money. The saving grace was that all the money went to charity.

One thing that surprised me is that Ivanka Trump has more thoughtful business assessment knowledge than I gave her credit for. I was on another Apprentice blog a few years ago, and someone there with personal knowledge of her work was not complementary...oh well.

LOL..I only watched the last couple of Celebrity Apprentice episodes. I fell in love with Trace. Piers did a good enough job, but holy crap is he a pain in the patootie...

You got that right. He is the dictionary illustration of "does the end justify the means?"

In the finale, he told the wait staff at the charity event to get the celebrity guests as drunk as possible so they'd bid on items they don't need with money they hadn't planned to part with. Ick.

Apparently, as long as he won challenges, it didn't matter how he did it.

Piers may have won the show, but Trace was the real victor. I can only imagine how many legions of loyal fans he must have garnered from his participation. That voice! It really does something for me. He's the rugged manly man's man with a quietly soft side.

Wonder if Omarossa will rear her ugly head again soon? She and Survivor's Johnny Fairplay have more than had their fifteen minutes already.

The Donald picked the correct final two for the ultimate showdown. Wanted to punch that Piers right in the nose about a thousand times, but he did deserve to be there -- jerk that he is. Sure was rooting for Trace!

Me, too, Susan! I really wasn't a Trace fan before, but am now.

Piers is so obnoxious. And this season was all about pulling celebrity friends' names out of your address book and pressing them for money. Piers has no problem with that. Charity is one thing and making lots of money is one thing, but how you do it is another. Regardless of who had been in the final 2, I would have rooted for anyone but Piers.

They didn't reiterate all the clever marketing ideas Trace had developed during the season. For the most part, he got everyone to do what they were supposed to do and he worked well with everyone. But in The Donald World, don't think that gets you promoted.
