CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME?

I know I generally sound like a whiner, but this has been a bad week
overall, then I get this in a Word Round:

To smoke, as tobacco.
ANSWER - Drink

It's a pretty far stretch but maybe there's an archaic meaning regarding smoke something like this (from dictionary.com):

drink (verb):
6. to take in (a liquid) in any manner; absorb.
7. to take in through the senses, esp. with eagerness and pleasure (often fol. by in): He drank in the beauty of the scene

That sounds logical, Suzer, but part of my first message didn't go through
(copy/paste doesn't work quite as it should, I guess).

The answer option I chose was Smoke. If Smoke hadn't been an option, I
doubt I would have chosen Drink. Doesn't follow for me.

Oh well, then that's probably just a mistake! And here I was trying to make it all logical.

I go look it up when I get things that don't make sense - trying to remember the one I got the other day - which in normal use seemed completely opposite - just in case it's out of whack and I need to send in support ticket - always surprise when it's "right" - I have the link bookmarked like is given in word matches since it's not on word round - so
http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=drink - but don't see any reference to that - maybe a bad match?

Editors have told us before that there is no way to change any of the words or definitions in WRs and WMs as the list was purchased, so a support ticket doesn't do any good.

Maybe it's an oblique refernence to the Joe Walsh album "The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get"
