My husband of 47 years is beginning to get a little annoyed with my obsession with Spoolfus.
No longer does he have a silent, tormented partner to watch endless reruns of Law and Order....thank you, thank you Spoolfus!

Luckily my husband does not mind too much about my Sploofus habit. But I, too, have been saved from my spouse's television habits - namely football (college and pro) and hockey. And if neither of those is available, it is some kind of big machine/modern marvel/biggest something or other show - lol!

Perhaps most importantly, you don't just stare blankly into the glowing screen, but interact in a manner that keeps the grey-matter active and's a healthy addiction. oog'

Good point Oogie! I'll kepp that filed in the back of my mind in case my husband ever starts complaining - lol!

I have a computer and TV in the same room. I multi-task between sploofus, TV (movies or sports), family and cooking. It may appear like I am always on, but often it is just refreshing to follow things.

Now there's a twentieth century term...multi-tasking, another idea for quiz subjects, such monikers that have come into use in the past decade or so. oogie, on all forum headings again

Fortunately my wife is the one who turned me on to Sploofus so it's kinda hard for her to complain now!

I also mess around on the laptop while watching TV. If I'm not doing 2-3 things at once I get bored. It's the ADHD in me!

My husband HATES trivia (I guess because he can never beat me at it), but LOVES online poker, so that actually works out on the PC, him on the laptop.
