SHOWDOWN TIMES FOR THE LOSERS

This is not a complaint or an accusation to anyone. I was just challenged to a showdown and answered correctly but my challenger had a time of 6.06 seconds, good for her, she won. My question is: If I answer a showdown( right or wrong), why isn't my time available to me. I think it would be nice to know I answered a question on nuclear technology correctly, but I
was 5/10,000 of a second too slow, so I lost. I think the time should be available, after all, this is 2.0.

You should worry. I have just done a showdown, never even saw a question due to a glitch, yet am still listed as having taken the showdown. Support say they can do nothing till my opponenr answers the question, so I have lost my showdown ticket, might lose a lot of points, all because the thing goes wrong. Why cant support do some thing.

How about making Showdowns be a public contest. Just like a shootout in the Old West. Set a specific time and date, and allow wagering on who you think will win. My money is on Chickie to whoop Slicko's derriere, HANDILY !!

Sry Bill, even I would take Sicko over me. The man's a freak and he cheats.

I agree though, it would be nice to see how damn slow I really was.

Me.

I like that suggestion of giving us our time and our opponent's time. I, too, would like to know just how far off I was.

From the responses, not too many of the volunteers care about showdowns. POT

This volunteer will not even attempt to challenge anyone until we get to select our category, as Justin may not have promised when he said we could.

Whats wrong with losing a few showdowns. I know I am at a disadvantage because i live in Spain, where I lose 5 seconds via the crap broadband, but,I still persist in using my showdown tokens. What's a few million points amongst friends(or Enemies) LOL

I kinda like the idea of a ladder showdown competition, like a tournament.

Have showdowns in four different categories, maybe the first 16 to sign up are seeded by total points.

Then each division winner meets in a Final Four, with a crown and a billion points for the winner.

Barnie - you asked why support cannot do anything now for you, and the answer is because we can't see or confirm any details until after the showdown ends. When we confirm the claim, we will return the points lost and the Showdown token.

If the glitch allows you to win the showdown, do you want us to take your points away?

I hope you reported the glitch on the 2.0 bug list (if you are playing in 2.0).

And I hope the suggestion has been added to the enhancement list to add the time to the "sorry you lost" message after a showdown.

Remember that Support Tickets and posts here in BBS are not the best ways to get things fixed in 2.0.

I should be so lucky. What is this new thing everybody talks about, but none of us minions are allowed to see. Are there Beta Blockers used on the island, to stop late members like me from ever seeing the new phenomenon.

Where is this "enhancement list" so that I can post a suggestion I have to improve Sploofus?
