WORDMATCHES

Hello there,

i am just wondering why my wordmatches resulsts are not showing on my profile. I know that I have come 1st 2nd and 3rd in the game - maybe it is because i have yet to win a gem playing?

Hi, that's a good question. I don't think it makes a difference whether or not you have a blue diamond or gold nugget. Your Word Match first through third place wins should show up as well as Word Round. I don't know how long these things are logged in the system, but you could probably check through a support ticket.

Sometimes I think I have the best time in one or the other and during the last minute of the hour someone knocks me off. The only way I can tell is through the PM that is sent that tells where you placed. If you received a PM that said you were first, second or third in WM, then it should show up on your Profile Page.

There was a recent complaint by another player who had the same problem. I think it is a bug, my word match counter on my profile is not working, and I have reported it. I would suggest sending in a support ticket if you are on old sploofus or clicking on the green bug to report it if you are on sploofus 2.0.

My wm/wr counter has not been updated either. Can someone tell me how I send a support ticket?

Hover over 'Your Sploofus Space' and the drop down menu will show 'Player Support'.

Hi,
Yes, I was the one who asked about this earlier, in the Newbies forum. I did indeed send in a support ticket and was told the problem is being worked on. I make sure to save all of my PMs so I can document that I really did place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a WM. My WR "achievements" are showing up just fine. For me, the problem is confined to WMs. I'm hoping the problem can be solved soon for all of us!

Praetorian, gee, I noticed you've been a member for over two years. Have you ever talked with tech support about this problem before?

I have been a member here for a while but I only recently started playing the wm/s & wr/s. I have sent my first support ticket last night, Australia east coast time.

Hi,
I'm just curious, are other people still having problems with their WordMatch achievements either not showing up at all or their counters not being updated? I recently spoke with another Sploofuser friend who said his WM counter is not being updated, but his WR counter is.

My WR counter is fine and updates correctly, but my WM counter never materialized. As a temporary "fix," I created my own counter for my WMs in my profile so I can keep track of stuff. (Justin is aware of the problem as I know several of us have submitted support tickets already.)

Anyway, like I said, I'm just interested in a update on this from others.

Stoutyoungladd, are both of your counters still not updating?

This is one of those programming problems I find interesting, for some unknown reason.

My wm counter is not updating. I sent in a support ticket and they closed it saying that only Justin can address the problem. What can you do? I think Justin has more than enough on his plate right now.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for the update on your situation. In case it wasn't clear to anyone, my post wasn't a complaint. I know how overwhelmed Justin is with 2.0 and other stuff. That's why I created my own little WM counter in my profile. It may look silly, stupid, snooty or just plain pathetic , but at least it solves the problem for me for the moment.

If I had a gazillion wins already, I probably wouldn't care about creating my own little counter, but since I'm still fairly new, I still get excited if I finish in the top three.

Anyway, I was just curious about other people. Remember, I am actually a cat, so I can't help myself.

Geri,

I hope you didn't think my comment was directed at you. Honestly, I wish someone could fix the problem. I saved many of my 1-3 placings on wm just so someone could see that it truly was happening. I don't even bother anymore. I know there's a lot going on right now so I will try to be patient. Not my strong suit!
