CRAZY WORD ROUND DEFINITIONS...

Ever get one that makes you say, "Huh....? What...? Uh..." :D Here's one I just had:

AufklArung.

Tripinnatifid
Enlightenment
Substantively
Vitriolizable
Proterogynous

The answer is Enlightenment.

You know, that's quite a coincidence. Just the other day I met a substantively vitriolizable tripinnatifid. I'm it would have eventually led to some aufklarung, if it weren't so darn proterogynous.

The previous link is to a website about "The Aufklarung Movement in Germany." Must be enlightening.

Thanks for the link. I am sure it's Enlightening.

Perhaps if the word had not appeared as '=AufkLArung' it would have seemed less like a non-word. :D

Ever get the ones with // or # in the middle of the definition? Those are pretty strange to see as well.

Yes, frequently, but a real poser is when you get a list of 5 words and no definition.

Jeeze violet, you mean to say you don't speak German? Gosh, if you did you would have known , just like if the word for enlightenment was given a Latin, or Greek, or possibly an Ancient Macedonian tanslation, you would have gotten them too. Oh, you say you are on an English speaking site? Well, have yoiu no adventure in your soul? Maybe someone could give all foreign words and make you ponder long enough to enter a 65 second round. Ya think?

I had one even better this morning--no definition, just 5 choices! I got a 90--wish I knew what the question was.
