WHERE THAI 4/21 9PM

My earlier unaccepted guess was La Grenouillére, with the accent. The later accepted answer was La Grenouillere, without the accent. The source I found had the accent as I submitted it. Others have the accent going the other way, not sure what that's called.

And the official "correct" answer substitutes a Chinese ideogram for the last three letters of the answer.

Compare and contrast.

Oh, and a ticket has been submitted some time ago.

Got a reply to my ticket, and the hundred grand points. Apparently WTHAI now won't accept any accents, or diacritical marks, as of a recent change.

That's correct. Justin changed the program to eliminate punctuation - only allowing alpha-numeric characters. For commas and periods this isn't a problem since they stand alone. Letters with diacritical marks aren't registering at all - no matter how we enter the answer possibilities. So at least for now, don't add any diacritical marks to answers. Discussions are happening to figure out how to handle this for the future.

Don't like those critical marks. Don't care if they put "dia" in front of them. Ultimately it's just critical and I hate coming to websites and being criticized.

Me.

and by the way, I didn't add the diacritical mark, it was part of the source I found in wiki and I cut and pasted. So, if you do that, you have to remove the "extra" marks from your answer before you actually enter it, or it won't register as correct, even if it is.

Beta testing is fun! It's gonna be so boring when everything works as planned.
