JUST CURIOUS

Next month my husband and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.

I was just curious who else on our little island can boast about a long term marriage.

Have a good night. I have to go to work.

In September , my wife and I will celebrate our 38th anniversary.

Too much Sploofusing may prevent a 39th!

You guys are just bragging now, I was married two years, and she's evil. Just joking...she's okay.

Well, you are all better than me! I've been married only a total of 17 years - and it took three husbands to accomplish that!!! I gave up 22 years ago and figured that I'm just too hard to live with!

34 years here. Here's the really secret part - he does all the laundry, waters the houseplants and does most of the nightly cooking - don't know how I accomplished that, but I'm not complaining.

I would have been married 45 years by now
if we had stayed together, but we didn't
so I couldn't have....
But I was married for 30 years, even though we
only lived together for 12 years....
So, if you do the math,we divorced 15 years ago
but I have been on my own for 33 years
Guess I don't win????

19 fun filled years in June I waited until I was 35 to take the plunge but it appears to be working

Rowlanda - your marriage sounds like mine was. We would have been married 51 years this past Feb. 24 ... if we would have stayed married. He worked away from home a lot -- sometimes several states away. Absence does NOT make the heart grow fonder in most cases. I used to say the same thing you did -- we were married all those years but probably only lived together perhaps half of them, or less. And I was on my own a lot even when we lived together.

guess I don't win the prize either! or

41 years.
We honeymooned in Venice and we're back there in a couple of weeks time for a belated Ruby.
And she's still far too good for me!

33 years this summer. Ben was best man at my first marriage and I decided that he really WAS the best...and still is. We still have lots of fun and good times together.

Three years this year for me and relsbabyblue! However, these 3 years should count triple at least, seeing as we have crammed so much in. My parents have been married for 40 years, I guess they've been 'happily' married for about 5 of those. Kudos to all married folks everywhere. Research shows we live longer!

Huzzah to all the folks out there who's pulled together all these years!
