I've got a quarter for someone who can explain those to me after it's all said and done.

The sheer randomness was very frustrating.

frustrating is not what I call it, I finshed it but that's all I can say good about it

I seemed to have one that was "5 Sames" but maybe I am just dense about that subject!

And yeah, I had to guess a lot of letters, but that's not necessarily a bad puzzle. Certainly not google-able for a 5 this time!

Strange puzzle.

One of them seemed to have a theme, but the rest did not.

I liked it, but I like the ones everyone else hates, I understood the theme quickly enough, but still had to use many letters. Would have done better had I not mistaken an m for an n and an n for an m 3 TIMES!!! Super D'oh. Some obscure words, IMO, but I enjoyed it.

I can see that it's not everyones "cup of tea" but I absolutely loved this puzzle, I could do one on this theme every day!

Dare I ask for another one!.........please Sploofanote.

I guess I'm on the record for loathing and despising this kind of puzzle, but it's even worse when your computer throws you out of it in the middle of the fourth puzzle. I've sent in a support ticket and hope I can get back on it and not have wasted the inordinate amount of time I spent on it before I was ditched (and no, I didn't try to leave the page for another one--I just got bumped to a commercial site I had no interest in. Grr!).

Thanks, I did--I did my best to use all the same letters on puzzles I had the first time, just to be as fair as possible. And I have to agree with one of the posters above on one of my puzzles--it seemed like five of the same to me!

Not a fan, I got the idea, just not a fan

This one definitely gave me some cognitive dissonance, but that was the fun of it -- or frustration -- depending on your point of view. My mistake was in thinking there would be any logic to the "one different" in among the "four same." I got the hang of it, though, and I'd enjoy doing another like this.

Since the puzzle is now over, is this the phrase where it seems there are five of the same?

elephant crocodile wallaby kangaroo giraffe

If so, all are mammals except the crocodile. Or was there a different phrase where it seemed there were five of the same?

To tell the truth, I never thought about the mammal/reptile thing, since in all the other puzzles the different thing was completely unrelated in any way, whereas in this one all were animals. I was so intent on finding a fifth thing that had absolutely nothing to do with the others than something so similar just didn't register.

I thought the puzzle was quite frustrating! But not as bad as the colours one that just ended! It took me 80 moves and left me with only 1800 points! Wow, what a bummer! I guess I prefer ones that have some kind of logic or perceivable meaning to them! But you can't please everybody, right?

To me, the "elephant crocodile wallaby kangaroo giraffe" one is the only one that made sense. Five things that are closely related, but one is a bit different (reptile vs mammal). The other 4 had the something different not only being nothing remotely similar to the other four, but the 'different' word was generally an obscure, rarely used word as well.

I liked the theme, but felt it didn't flow very smoothly due to these differences in style. I would have preferred that they all be written in the same manner.

That's just a personal preference though.

I'm with Tallactor here - I thought they were all animals, but my other bit of confusion is that my other puzzles had hints as to what the '4 same things' were, but the crocodile puzzle had a clue like "toothy grin" making the hint about the one ODD thing in that group. So then I was thinking maybe one of those things doesn't have teeth??

I did find the random words a bit strange as a choice for the one 'different' in the other puzzles.
