FUNNY PHONICS

I had NEVER heard of this ........... and I'm a teacher....but NOT early childhood. I had NO idea what it entailed. That was undoubtedly one of the most clever word puzzles that I have ever done. I would really like to try more because by the end of it, I had finally caught on! Great job, Oogie. Kudos to you for a very clever puzzle. My score sucked but I learned something!

Enjoyed your wordpuzzle, Danny! I always lose a lot of points on the short ones, but it was really clever. Thanks!

Lately I am really loving the clever puzzles that you HAVE to guess some letters on!

This was very well done: tricky and funny at the same time!

I hope the platinum members get to write LOTS AND LOTS more WPs!!

Thanx Marsha, I hope it was'nt badly recieved overall. My original version had more clues, but would not fit the format. I got the idea from a board game I played some years ago....don't recall the name. oog

HEY - Platinums deserve some special perks beyond the golds. I'm all for keeping this as Platinum only

And I believe that game is called Mad Gab.

Usually these long ones are the type I hate and bail but this was very clever. Good work!

Now never do another of this type.

BTW, I did take your puzzle oog, my first word puzzle in probably a year, was hoping I could come out of it sounding cool and smart, but I didn't get it. Fun anyways. Thanks.

Many thanks for writing the puzzle, but I don't like the puzzles that are hard to figure out. With the short answers by the time you figure it out the puzzle is over. But thanks for writing it.

I am shamefully too stoopid for this puzzle (my score shall mercifully disappear off the page quickly). But you did well writing it!

I loved the puzzle! I was sure with all the moves I was using I would be way down the list but as of now I'm not. (well, I'm not up there with the likes of Tallactor, but middle of the road, which is better than I have been doing). Fun puzzle, clever idea and I hope you'll do more of these.

Yes, a toughie to get my brain in gear, but it turned to be very clever.

I survived without losing too many points.

Another sploofplatinum gem!

It was a great puzzle, oog, but those short ones are sooooo hard to finish without using all your letters! I always do pretty poorly at them. Good job, tho. No everyone likes the same kind of puzzle, for sure!

I have just come from a Coven meeting, where the Black Witch, my sainted wife, wanted to start inserting hot needles into nasty places on a doll of Gandolf which she had made. I had to explain that it was not really you Smaug, but the nice Sir Ian in drag. There was a common opinion amongst the White Wizards and Witches, that as the only Black Witch, my wife should not get her own way, as she usually does. See previous theme
She is now trying to contact the real Gandulf, to get him to fix you. As the Head Wizard of the Coven, I forbad her, but, as usual, she took no notice, so, if one day you get a severe pain in your backside, it might be a red hot poker, not piles.

PS Why the hell should us Gold Members not set one or two. You might get a pleasant surprise, or, as in Smaug's case, a nasty pain in his sit me down.

Because when you pay $50 for 6 months vs. $14.95 for 6 months, you are given some extra perks. Would you like to buy a 1st class airline ticket and then find out you have the same seat as those in coach? Only paying for a gold membership and then complaining about the perks of platinum is like sitting in coach and complaining that the 1st class passengers, who have paid TRIPLE the amount of fare you have, get the good meals and the free drinks.
