We all have mothers; mums; mommies; mamas; moms or other personal terms of endearment.
Some may still be with us; some have departed from our lives.

Today is a day to remember them. We "owe them".

I hope this link works. I always "choke" up when I hear this Jimmy Dean song.

If not, google [Mom I.O.U.- Jimmy Dean] and find a link to the lyrics or music.

Indeed, happy Mother's Day to all the mothers here, whether of children or pets or both!

Oh, you got me there.

"tearing up"

It has been nearly ten years since my mother passed.

Thanks, Al!

Bit late for UK and Spain. Mothering Sunday in UK was on 2nd Mach, here in Spain, 4th May. I am one of those fortunate enough to still have a mother, so I go to England every January. Mum was 98 on January 20th, may she have a few more years yet.

It was Mothers Day today in Australia!
We had a lovely day together for lunch: Spaghetti Marinara with red wine, garlic bread and salad, followed by blackberry-apple upside-down cake!!

May all of you have an equally-enjoyable Mothers Day with your families!

Thanks, Al, for starting the thread! "I Owe You" is a beautiful and emotional song by Jimmy Dean, so thanks for the link!

My mother is 87, and I thank God everyday for her and that she is still with us.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, and may God bless the ones who have lost their mothers, and may they have special memories as we all do.

The Mom's Song to the William Tell Overature was great. Except I kept trying to breathe for her, I wasn't sure she had time!

I lost my mom when I was 16, but I got one back by marriage. In fact, I did tell Scott that one of my reasons for agreeing to marry him was because of his mother.

How Romantic, Easy.

I have to love my wife. Has three teenagers, she is 5'6" 109 lbs and in like tri-athalon shape to nicely contrast my little beer belly.

This weekend had confirmation for our twins with a bunch of unliked relatives back at our house all day today and she pulled the whole thing off and gave me great sex for hours tonite.

Note: elements of this story are true.

Exchange the words "little" and "great."

lolol...very good.

Actually, everything is true but the sex. After everyone left I went upstairs. She was sound asleep.

On her stomach, but, hey, I'm not an animal.

So your wife is asleep, which explains why "Smaug is bored"
Your wife sounds great....Intelligent, Funny AND a good figure
AND puts up with Smaug for so many years....
Puts me in mind of the Law of Diminishing Returns....

And there was silly me thinking this was about mother's Day, and not another Forum for Smaug to lower the tone again.

You're a total miserable dick, Barnie!

No, wait! That was my excellent subtle wit! Forgive me!

Did your mothers bring you up to be like that? Now play nice, or no dessert for either of you.
