Fewer people are taking the quizzes these days. I used to sit until my back ached to try to get into the top 100 and rarely made it. Now I'm there all the time without trying. Is the weather warming up and chasing everyone outdoors? Wonder what's going on?

I bet it's the 2.0 testing and extra games to play.

If it is I hope it doesn't take too much longer. I think there's less people playing Sploofus all round. When I logged on the other night there was a grand total of 17 people playing. That's the lowest I've ever seen it. I must say it's not half as much fun as it used to be, but being a Sploofus addict I keep coming back.

I think there are about 43,600 people who would agree with you that we hope it's not too much longer for the testing.

I don't think that 2.0 has much to do with it. I am a beta tester, but I usually play on 1.0 because overall, I actually prefer 1.0 to 2.0. Just from seeing user numbers for the new games, I don't believe 2.0 is too significant to regular quiz taking. I have taken fewer quizzes this month because the introduction of new quizzes in my favored categories has slowed.

I know I've hardly taken any quizzes for weeks - a few WPs. This is the busiest month of my professional life. I went to Dallas 3 times last week (330 miles away). Many music contests and concerts (and job interviews). I'm too exhausted to actually dig in my memory or trivial knowledge. I'm pretty much just reading posts and being VERY shallow until the pressure is off.

I have thought about it for a while, I usually do not do word rounds and rarely do word puzzles. So before 2.0 I have been doing mostly quizzes and sometimes writing quizzes, now my routine switched to little bit of taking quizzes, sometimes trivia squares and trying to solve WTHAI, but I have not written a quiz for long time, I am not sure if there still interest for other people in taking quizzes. Plus, we have just authored our first word puzzle. So, basically I need some sort of psychological insentive to start writing quizzest again. Any fun ideas?
