Enjoyed the puzzle a lot - except for one! Something I hadn't heard of and it got me almost clear through the alphabet. Otherwise, lots of fun and would enjoy seeing others similar.

Loved it! I was cruising along really great until I put in an apostrophe where one should be (except in WP). I got a +3 SORRY message and kept trying out other letters, not realizing for quite a number of wrong guesses that I needed to delete the punctiation. DUMB! Still a fun WP!

Maurlin...Welcome to my world!! If I don't make silly errors on at least one puzzle my day won't be complete!! And...look at how many people beat me on my own puzzle. I plead insanity or kids or both!

Did I miss something, 4 of my puzzles were song tittles, but the 5th had a Elton John song tittle & the Beatles part was lyrics. Cost me 10 moves & a top 10. Oh well, perhaps some I didn't get were lyrics too. After all my whining, I still enjoyed the puzzle Bleepy Nice job

Hi Randy,
The phrases were merged song titles, hence the title "Demented Duets," which I thought was very clever and had me fooled a little at first.

Anyway, my first phrase was: dont stand so close to me witchy woman --

which is a "duet" by The Police and The Eagles. I hope that helps!

Thought the answers were pretty obscure and not particularly cute (except the Cindi Lauper on, which was extremely clever). However, I did enjoy. Thanks.

Yes I had that one thanks, Geri, but the Beatles don't have a song called "You'll Never Know". At least I couldn't find it & I searched through my book, The Complete Beatles Chronicles & then the internet. They have one that starts that way but it's called, "Do You Want To Know A Secret".

Ohhhh, sorry Randy, I see what you mean now. Anyway, yeah, I can't find a Beatles song called, "You'll Never Know," either. Seems like that might have been a goof? What was your Elton John song?

Oldcougar and Tresgatos - I pm'd both of you to help with the confusion!!! Bbear - thanks for the "cute" thoughts!

Thanks, RJ! Actually, I didn't have any confusion with my phrases -- they all made sense and were all "demented" and amusing mergings of two song titles. Hopefully you and Randy can work out what happened there! Again, thanks for a fun puzzle!
