I took nearly the full 30 seconds to answer my trivia question, but I'm sure I answered in time. It was one from a few days ago, but, again, it was within the allowed number of days. Instead of "Congratulations" or "Sorry," I got the red "Error R02 - uable to process your request.........." so I don't know if my answer was right. I used to get these error messages every so often but haven't for quite awhile. Could this have anything to do with my being on AOL? Thanks for any advice,

There is an ongoing time-lag issue which has been mentioned in other threads. It hasn't been fixed yet. Basically the timer keeps going 5-10 seconds after you click your response. Put in a support ticket and an editor should be able to tell you whether your answer was recorded or not. (Under Your Sploofus Space, choose Player Support, then Online Player Support.) Good luck!

P.S. It doesn't have anything to do with AOL.

Another P.S. If your answer wasn't recorded in time, I think the editor can give you a replacement question.

(Sorry for the multiple posts, I'm still waking up!!!)

If had that happen a few times, but the irony is it acutally does record the answer. Double check your level points to be sure

I hadn't thought to look at my Level. I guess it did record a correct (albeit slow!)answer. Thanks for your responses.

Avdralle, When I first came to sploofus I had AOL (yuk) !

Your settings play a major part in your performance, speed & browsing.

I'm not saying that TQOTD is not the problem, because there is a problem there.
I think we all have had the same problem with it.

Here is a post i created that might help.
I also would mention, that after you hit enter on your question, Move your mouse around rapidly... it helps!

Tips on how to make your computer run faster & better!

If you or anyone else have any questions, I will do my best to help & answer your questions...

Thanks, Mitchy,

I do some of those things on a sporadic basis, but you've included more than I have known. I've printed out your suggestions and will try them all.

BTW, lately, if I answer a TQOTD in, say 10 sec., there is a long pause after I declare my answer. I always worry about what will happen if the timer reaches 30 sec., even though I answered in 10. Then, it will respond "Congratualtions" (usually !) and say that I answered in 10 seconds. It is as if it knows when I answered, but takes 10 or
15 more seconds to send its message to me. Is this common?

Thanks again,
- avdralle

Is this common?

Absolutely! But if it runs down completely and gives you an error message just put in a support ticket and the editors are right there for you. (Right there, usually) May take a few minutes but they do have day jobs so please be patient.

Just wanted to confirm that the question was recorded correctly, and the appropriate points were awarded.

Lately, even though players may get an error message, we are finding that the system actually does record both the time and the points correctly. Please continue to submit Support Tickets if you get an error page while doing your TQOTD, When submitting the Support Ticket, it would help a lot if you would give us the topic of the question.
