I don't work, Steve, but the rest of those players should get their noses to the grindstone Actually, I know some of those other players don't work either, at least not at paying jobs

As someone who works third shift, my Monday began at 11:00 p.m. Sunday night. I was getting my butt kicked because the hand held pc that I use to key in my rental cars was non-functional until 4:30 a.m. Monday morning, and I was busy manually entering the data for my cars in a desk top computer. I was busy listening to Duke Ellington in between cars.

You never seem to catch me Steve, yet I'm always here, at least logged on if not does that happen?

You are very presumptuous thinking that everyone playing is in your time zone. I relax with a bit of internet time and a cup of coffee when I first get's only 6:15 AM Arizona time! (I wasn't even awake when you first posted, let alone already at work!)

And, neener, neener, neener, I don't have to work at all this week as I am on summer vacation

At 8:30 this morning I was at the park watching my dog roll in something that had died around Memorial Day,,,,and no.. I don't know why I'm telling you this.

You are a large-eared trouble maker. What if some of those folks have bosses who are also Sploofing? Some of us - ahem - older retired folks - have part time jobs with strange hours. Some folks have Mondays off, ya know.

And anyway, doncha know you're not supposed to be Sploofing while Driving.

I'm celebrating my last Monday of the school year ......... I am almost giddy with happiness. AND yes, I do play at work ...during breaks of slapping kids around.

I don't know how you folks get by with logging on at work. We "might" get one warning but that might depend on how badly they want to get rid of you. There's a rule at work: If you access any Internet site on a company computer, you had darned well better have a story or column within the next few days on the subject of whatever you looked up. They have 45 or so newspapers to monitor and the number of virus and spam hits a day is unbelievable so I understand why they have to be so particular.

One time I received a cute e-mail about mothers and usually I just delete or forward it to my home address but this one time I forwarded it to a couple people I knew would find it enjoyable. In a few hours the publisher came around to let me know headquarters had contacted him and wanted him to check it out. He covered for me that time, but I knew it better not happen again.

Those of you who get to log on at work, consider yourselves lucky.

My name's not on this list -I was at work at 8:34 a.m- and not Sploofusing.

They block the "games" websites- damn them!

Sploofus is blocked for me as well at work, though we have internet access to other sites that are work related. I would have a real problem with people signing on and not doing work though. Every now and again might not be bad, but we all know how difficult it is to step away...

I was on 45 minutes later. Some days I just can't get started, so I play a word round or two and maybe do some quizzes....

At the public library where I work we are REQUIRED to log on to Sploofus in order to hone our skills in answering patron questions.

Texas is an hour behind Sploofus time. But this week all I have to do at school is get my instruments inventoried and they don't care what time I come and go as long as I finish.

So I'm coffeeing and sploofing most every morning.

That's weird - there was just a post in here from Towerguard, and now its gone. I don't recall that it was offensive.

Maybe the boss saw it and got Towerguard fired! Yikes!

I was laffing with my son about this. We know the truth that folks are on at all times in all places...but it was so much fun.

Towerguard is my son, and we were on his laptop. I posted before I realized it was the wrong account. I asked for it to be pulled.

Oh the perils of having to much time.
