Are you an Oz-arian? Or do you just love what you've seen or heard about the Land Downunder? Well, I have started a group at Beta so that we can all get together and chew the fat over ...

-Aussie jokes
-Traditional Recipes
-News Stories Downunder
-Top Holiday spots
-Aussie Idol Gossip - TV, Film, Music
-Ask the Aussie (questions from non-ozarians for True Blue blokes and babes to answer)

And SOOOOOO much MORE! Remember, we are a multicultural nation, so I encourage EVERY one from ANY where to join this group - US, UK, Africa, Asia ... WHEREVER the HECK you are from - Sharing is caring!

So, girls (and guys) - That's YOU, Genese, Patty cake, Gaz man, Bazzle Dazzle, Mazza, Kit Kat, Rut'a, Suzy Q, Lindy Loo and Mandy Moo (et al) - See you ALL there REAL soon. Hop on board and join me and the 'Fox a-la Bush', in getting down and under the dirt.

Dyenamite is Done
Kind regards,

Join now and get a Vegemite sandwich.

Saw "Men at Work" in concert in Harrisburg, PA back in 1982.
Great show.
Love their albums.

Steeeeve! How are ya mate? Yes, YES!! HOW could I leave out the number one consumption of the nation? Vegemite Beer! (Or something like that.) Yep, you get the idea. Jump in the deep end and come get a different take on the world. Vegemite sandwiches to the first 50 groupies and a pet platypus for the member of the month ... Smaug??

G'Day to all Ozzarians! We had a beauty bonza day down here in Oz, even if it was kinda soggy.

Struth! This time last year we were in the middle of a four-day double-celled cyclone that flooded us out and blew us away.
We sure can do without another'un of those'uns.

C'mon and join our Aussie group if you want a bit of koala cuddles every Sunday!

Cheers, Bev

The word CHUNDER, to THROW UP, originated on the ships taking all thre holiday makers ( in chains) lol, down to OZ. You could have three or four tiers of prisoners, one above the other. If someone on a higher tier was sick, not uncommon, then the cry went up "WATCH UNDER" This, of course, was then shortened, and the word CHUNDER was born. I have travelled the world extensively, but never particularly wanted to go to OZ. My wife and I went on a four week trip to attend a wedding at PORT AUGUSTA, long standing promise, and both of us were delighted with ADELAIDE and SYDNEY, where we took 4-5 day breaks, both of them were a pleasure to visit, and our opinions of the people, we only knew loud mouthed Aussies from London, changed to so much the better. Would love to go again one day, but do not think we will make it due to my wife's heart problems

I have been to OZ and my sister in law lived in Perth for some time. My nephew lives there now. However not "ALL" will be able to participate in your group. Only the beta testers and they number around 100 (based on a post by a Editor last month). Perhaps the number is larger but over 43,000 will not be able to particpiate. Repeated requests to join the beta testers have brought only jeers and tears hence my new avatar. See you then ....probably in 2009.

I hope your nephew is OK, Spacecat. Perth had a massive windstorm kinda like a tornado thru there yesterday!!

Also: I sure do hope Beta Sploofus will be open to ALL members soon!

Cheers, Bev

Well...maybe I'll sign up...if I can ever find the group. I went to 2.0, clicked on Community and then Groups. I don't see it and I have no idea which category it's hidden in. I couldn't find it in THE WORLD or PEOPLE. HELP!!!
