ANY GOOD CONCERTS?

I saw The Moody Blues again last night with my daughter. I swear they get even better with age.

I would love to see Tom Petty! The symphony orchestra in Cincinnati is doing a show on all Led Zeppelin songs that I would love to see.

I took a chance on last minute ticket to see Tom Petty, or actually The Black Crowes who were opening for him -- got there as tickets sold out -- stood in parking lot and listened -- they were both awesome - and I found out its true, girls from Western Pa, can fall down, never spilling their beer -- that was an observation, not an experience.
Last concert I saw was Godsmack -- incredible with Shinedown opening -- they were great as well. LOVE GODSMACK!

Robert Plant is in St. Louis next week and I would love to go, but I don't think it's feasible

My daughter and I hope to see Maroon 5 this summer but we'll have to drive five hours and stay overnight. I saw ELO many years ago at the Forum in Inglewood, California. Fantastic show. We saw Los Lonely Boys last summer.

I just went to Sheryl Crowe and Eric Clapton a couple of weeks ago.. awesome concerts. I'm seeing Bachman Cummings in about a week (but have to sit through Kim Mitchell first .. listening to 'patio lanterns' or 'might as well go for a soda' one more time and I'm going to flip! lol) ... AND.. I AM going to see Robert Plant in July, as well as Rush and Lenny Kravitz later this year.

Here's a link to a discussion had recently on concerts:

I saw Rush last year and they were awesome as ever! I just can't get over how old they look...I guess that means I'm getting old too, I just don't feel like it.

Shinedown puts on a GREAT show! See them any chance you get!

Oh, and I forgot to mention one...although I can't imagine too many Sploofus'ers being able to relate to this band, but...the first week of August, I will be going to see Otepp. (sp?) My nephew's band, Undying Silence, is opening for them. Too cool!
