Only 2 have ever made it to the Top 10: the first one had 494 takers (Astronomical Sign Symbols); the other one is on the list now and so far has had 323 takers.

That one also has an EA; but the other 2 quizzes I have with EA's have had 86 and 101 takers; the EA seems to be far less effective as a marketing tool than the Top 10 list!

My 'points earned' was 67 or 68 until I got the EA's; now it's at 69.

But I also wrote 6 quizzes that have seen 10 or less takers. Most of these are movie quizzes that got bumped off the front page too quickly (**shameless plug: if you have ever seen the Robert Altman film "Nashville" you should take my quiz!), or were simply too obscure of a topic!

The majority of my quizzes have gotten between 40 and 60 hits.

I've been a member for just over one full year...and when I started there were under 100 quizzes in each of the categories of Arts, Religion and Technology, so there were simply not as many quizzes here to be taken!! Even my obscure topic quizzes got plenty of hits in those days - LOL

Also, I seem to recall getting NO points at first for having your quizzes taken...then it was 10 points per taker...then it switched to the current system of your average rating x 10.

Hope that gives you a idea of what you were looking for!

Some people can write about anything under the sun. All of my quizzes have a personal relation to me in some way. Each quiz I write is inspired by something in my life. Some topics are winners and some aren't (like my poor Korean quiz).

My points have always stayed right at 70 per quiz. I have only written in the general, religion, world, and technology categories.

Have a great day!

My food quizzes tend to do the best - those are the ones that are close to 100 one side or the other. Guess everyone else likes to eat, too!

Just wondered what a normal return was - now I think I have the picture.

My quizzes range from 18 to 85 participants.

7 out of the 37 or so that I wrote have an average score over 7 including the last 4.

2 of my forst 3 quizzes (one just a shade over a year old and one that is 16 months old) have been taken 299 and 298 times. So, if anyone wants to put me over 300 it is belly full of trivia and my oldest Simpsons quiz.

How many people take a given one of your quizzes? Around where do the points you are awarded hover?

I've written about 70 quizzes, I think, since November. One has had over 100 hits - but only one. (I guess knowing nothing about movies hurts you around here!) And my points awarded seesaw in the 70ish range. Just wondered how that fits in with the general scheme, if anyone would care to share.
