Is it just me who is fed up with TQOTD never actually finishing before the timer runs out. I know you can see your result by looking at the top, but i think this has been going on far too long. As the majority of us cant use 2.0B, we might as well not be here.

I use it Barnie and I like to see my answer too - If I get down to the last 10 seconds I get the error but see the points at the top if I got it right - I only use non-beta to go check where I am on leader levels as I have not yet found that particular leaderboard link on beta. I agree that I would like to stop seeing the error - but as long as I'm getting my points credited, having done several beta's on different projects, I just consider it part of the process.

What I wish would get fixed is the picture upload issues - You CAN upload pictures with Firefox - but not IE7

I agree - ignore the count-down thermometer, or whatever you call it. It zooms to the bottom, but then the results page tell me I answered the question right in 6.4 seconds. Just don't even look at it. The timing is right - it is only the graphic that is wrong.

Actually Alice if you take a long time to answer (but still answer before the timer runs out), I think it gives you an error message rather than the results screen. You still get credit if the answer was correct, but it's annoying. I think the Beta folks have said the problem also exists on 2.0???? I'm sure this is on Justin's long list to fix, hopefully soon because it only started a couple of months ago.

Hmm, this is interesting. I don't recall ever getting the error message with a TQOTD, and I tend to be slow answering my questions unless I'm super confident of the answer. For example, yesterday I answered a Potpourri question. I had no idea what the answer was, so I tried to work it out logically. Ultimately I managed to guess correctly, but it took me about 19 seconds to do so. There have been times when I've taken over 20 seconds to answer. Still, no error/bug screen has popped up. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Lorri - see that big pink box up on top of the page that says leaderboards?

Also, I liked having the "overall rank" right at the top of the screen in 1.0. Not sure why that was removed.

Yeah - I don't like having to scroll to the bottom for overall & wp rank - I like that being at the top - it doesn't say overall rank anymore though (bottom left) says alltime

Of course, most of us do not know what you are talking about, as we are still on the outside, looking in, waiting for this wonderful thing which is preventing Justin fixing errors for the majority.

Just had it happen to me - answered quickly on a fairly easy QOTD, timer ran out and error message displayed. QOTD rank dropped so it obviously registered OK which is a relief as I have had a long series of US sport and obscure musicians so far this month (

Given that the most famous sharers of your handle come from the worlds of US sport and old jazz, is that such a bad thing?
