Just in case you haven't heard this news about Petco products having problems.

The Illinois distribution center provides pet foods to PETCO locations in 16 states: Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.

You can find complete information at this link:

Hmmm, don't think that worked, just copy & paste

Can't have kitties or their owners getting sick

Thanks for the post. Never mind that cats eat rats and birds, it's the humans who are at probably the greatest risk from opening the cans.

Back in the 40s I would help my grandmother put away her groceries and it always annoyed me that we had to washed off all cans and jars before putting them in the pantry or refrigerator. In recent years I have come to realize she was smart. not eccentric, and years ahead of her time.

Yes....all the methods we used to ward off infections
before the advent of Penicillin are now coming back
into use....
We've become very complacent and careless about basic
hygiene in the last 50 years, and now the anti-biotics
are not working anymore.
