ANYONE SEE MY REMOTE?

Can anyone think of where I (or my 2 year old) placed the remote for the satelite system? I have checked the nooks and crannies of the sofa and chair (found $3.55 in change) and his toy box. Under everything! I have even checked the laundry hamper, inside the refrigerator and his dresser drawers....anyone have any other ideas where it could be???
C'mon moms and dads..you know this has happened to you..car keys..remote..birth control..whatever!! Suggest some more places for me to look.
Thanks.

Maybe the trash? My sister used to throw everything away--like refrigerator magnets, etc.
Good luck! and let us know where you find it.

My son's first complete sentence was "I did it." Was referring to the fact that he had thrown the cordless phone away in the trash. So definitely check there!

Try his bed. He may have taken it to bed with him.

I'm still missing a 20-dollar bill, and 2 packages of pictures! No idea where they went.

My guess would be the trash. My daughter has favorite hiding places, like deep in the TV cabinet, where I have to crawl around to find anything, or under her dresser.

If you have looked everywhere and can't find it, my guess would be it fell in the trash. Check the trash in all rooms. Two year olds don't think like we do, at least I don't think they do.

Check behind the TV...my son use to love to throw things behind ours...he also stuffed things between the sofa cushions...if all else fails, do like the others suggested and check the trash!

I confess -- my husband took it!

I found it! I looked everywhere and thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. (Could you imagine being placed in a padded cell muttering 'remote..that #&%*ing remote')
I finally found it in the folds of....clean laundry. I am still not taking 100% of the blame. LOL.
Sigh..can someone invent a remote that has a 'beeper' on it so that when it is misplaced I can just listen for the chirp?
Thanks for all your suggestions folks!

Has your son visited the west of Ireland in the past week cos mine has gone missing?
Because I have visual problems I tend to have places for things. The remote goes either on the dresser or on the top ot the television.
Well it isn't in either place.
I have had my aged father in to visit and made him look for it - I had the home help look for it - and I have been on my hands and knees running my hands across the floor under cupboards and behind things - It has vanished.
I live alone with two cats. My Maine Coon (sadly no longer with me) used to steal my glasses and hide them but I think the remote wuld be too heavy for my current cats plus they have clean sheets regards stealing.
