Careful Kelly. I'm a victim of the 1969 thing and I haven't been right since. Listen to Yogi Berra, "It ain't over til it's over". I've been watching them since '51 and I have learned everyway to lose a basseball game at 1060 West Addison st. 1984 + 2003 were theirs' to take and they got had. Please don't set yourself up like I did.

L'CHAIM!

Last Thursday, a man was shot and robbed in our law office parking lot. Thank G-d he's alive! Very tramautized-HAD to buy TWO HATS to stop that shaking.
Yesterday, Monday, I put on my brave front and bulletproof vest and went back to work. A sub shop (Subway) a block away was robbed (perp had an AK) just when one of our employees was leaving. Thank G-d he made it out alive. Needless to say, we are looking for another office, and I HAVE to buy another hat.

Thanks to all my peeps here on The Island for your messages and thoughts (as I wrote about this in chat).

I do think I and my family are blessed.

Live

Laugh
and watch your back

L'Chaim!
We go direct
Thank G-d!
Shalom

I try to send Him an e-card at least once a week. But I always capitalize His name, He's fussy about that stuff. He doesn't get as weirded out about names as His Dad ... I mean, I don't think he's into the smiting like the old man was, but still, best not to get on His wrong side.

I have been praying since 1980 that the Phillies would win another World Series. I have also been praying since I don't know when that the Eagles would win one Super Bowl. My theory is that god just doesn't like fans who boo and throw snowballs at Santa Claus.

I am deeply appreciative of the opportunity to represent the Universe in this particular instance of self-aware stardust, contemplating the stunningly glorious apparent fact that I exist. If someone is responsible for this state of affairs, however, I have a few complaints.

It isn't funny to be killed by a wild beast.

With all the rain we've been having in the Midwest, the mosqitoes are out in force, already. I'm worried about that West Nile thing you can get from those pesty SOB's. Only four more months until our next frost, can't wait.

Nothing will pique the appetite like NPO after midnight and then IV Versed and Fentanyl all morning while they do unspeakable things in your mouth. After you come down from your trip, you beg your driver to stop at every fast food place on the way home cause you gotta have a chocolate milkshake...I mean a root beer float...I can TOO eat a beef burrito supreme.....
