Challenging, fun, and painful, all at the same time! Good job (but tougher than the musical phonetic WPs in my opinion)....

Thanks Oogie!

I actually did well on my first three - almost getting one with no letters and the last two nailed me - good job

Some tough ones for sure. I got through it without too many wounds.

P.S- A thank you to the Sploofus editor for re-setting my puzzle due to a browser glitch.
Very speedy work after I submitted my support ticket. This was the first time this happened to me- so thank you for the excellent customer service.

Oh my gosh. We got nine moves. We usually stink but my husband is the phonic king of the universe. Good on us!

Great puzzle and great fun. Thanks

Oogie, I appreciate your hard work developing these puzzles but they are torture for me. My head just can't get around them, think it's something to do with my poor spelling skills. Others like them so bring them on Please note, there's an old cougar dying, each time they appear I may splash water in your beer if you're coming to Idaho

Discovered the trick on these types of puzzles.

1. Wait until really late at night.
2. Drink plenty, plenty wine first.
3. Say the answer out loud with your drunken self.
4. Write down exactly what you say with your slurred wording.
5. Type VERY slowly; fingers won't be working too well by that time.
6. Enjoy your first and only first place!

Let me point out, since no one else yet has, that the Energizer bunny
is not affiliated with Duracell. Do editors read contributed puzzles?

The clue for the bunny was supposed to be "Duracell Rival", but I missed that when going over the puzzle. In Europe and Australia they have the Duracell Bunny, lawsuits were actually filed over the similarities.

OOgie: Yea, I looked it up. Apparently the Duracel bunnies came out first but energizer grabbed a copyright here first, so Duracels are advertised overseas but not in the US.
Therefore, the "rival" clue would have been better. I like clues that are a bit more obscure, such as "assault and battery".
Just me.

The Energizer clue did cause me a few "huhs?- but I found that Duracell also used bunnies in their ads so it wasn't a big deal.
The Kellogg clue was my biggest head scratcher- expected Tony the Tiger to show up.
Congrats to Bbear for a great effort.

Alvandy: Is wasn't the effort, it was the wine!

Please post your puzzle, for those (who, like me, would rather be off taking drugs at the oral surgeons office and missed your WP) and so everyone can enjoy all 10 of your works of art.
