Karen: Take any quiz you want! I take the ones that interest me and if it happens to be in the kid's category, then its in the kid's category. I make my ten year old take all the Star Wars quizzes for me though.

Well, you can't take one kid without taking the other, and you can't take the kids without the dogs, cats, & horses. But let me know when you're ready and I'll ship them right over.

I think Sploofus might need to set the Kids' category apart in some way, as it is not specified as a Kids' quiz when you see it in the Most Recent list.

I guess all quizzes here are fair game for all Sploofus members. But my two daughters (almost 5 and 7) try so hard and get pretty disappointed when they make a 100% yet their name doesn't show up in the Top 30 because of time. There is simply no way for them (who are new readers) to compete with adult trivia whizzes! And keep in mind that the quiz content is specifically easier, intended for children. Not sure why you'd intentionally take a quiz like that (not a challenge at all). But that's just my opinion... and as we all know, everyone has one.

I believe Violetblue's comment is spot on correct.

It would be best for the kids to be able to excel on a kid's Leaderboard, rather than competing with adults taking the quizzes (whether they do do inadvertently, or accidentally on purpose).

This is already a family-friendly site. Perhaps it can become more so.

Why is this even an issue? Who cares who takes which quizzes? I only take quizzes that interest me or have something from which I think I can learn. Guess what, I already know my shapes & colors so I don't take those quizzes. I don't consider myself a trivia expert but sometimes I take quizzes in that category. Should that be reserved for the trivial elite? I do let my children take quizzes here, but I don't restrict them to the kids' category. My son takes all the Star Wars quizzes and my daughter takes all the Grease or Goonies quizzes. Is someone going to have an issue with that? My point is, why does anyone care who takes what quizzes? Relax, play Sploofus, have a good time. Why waste your time worrying about what quizzes your neighbor takes?

I thought I explained why I care, but obviously my opinion isn't going to change anything. Take whatever quiz you want.

I was answering the original poster's question, which is the only reason I gave my opinion at all.

I completely agree with what Violetblue wrote - my eldest has an Sploofus account and it would be nice if they could have the *chance* of seeing their names on the Leaderboard for a quiz!

My point above, perhaps not clearly stated, is that it is unfair to the kids (and to other adults) for adults to be taking the "For Kids" quizzes.

I admire any youngster taking the Adult quizzes.
