That was a blast! Great job!

(I once did a spring recital for which all songs had to have a weather word. It was my voice students' favorite show.)

Thanks, bear, enjoyed it a lot!

Nice job bear - will be interested to see the others that I didn't get 3 of the categories were tough for me as I'm not really into it - but the last two puzzles were spot on for me - I'll enjoy seeing all at the end to see if I just got "lucky" in my mix

Clever use of your title

clever stuff. Very well constructed and nice (helpful but not TOO helpful) clues.

I haven't done the puzzle yet but, on a related note, I'm looking out the window watching tree bending winds, torrential rain and 30c + heat! yikes!!

Truly clever puzzle and just the right mix -- not too easy, not too hard. Your clues were right on, just enough help. An A-plus for this puzzle!

I haven’t written a WP yet…I thought we were told we could take our own puzzle if we picked enough letters not to fall in the top ten. It doesn’t seem to be fair to take your own WP and get the extra 500 or 1000 points. Just a thought…

Bbear - We have eliminated your score from the Puzzle leaderboard. Platinum members who write puzzles cannot score in the top 10 on their own puzzles. This has the effect of depriving other players of the possibility of earning major points on the puzzle. Platinum members are free to do their own puzzles, to earn the 5,000 points, but have been asked to put in every letter before solving. In that way they will still keep the 5,000 points, but not deprive other players of the bonus points.

If you wish to retake the puzzle, please be sure to use every letter in order to score low on the leaderboard.

Taking your own puzzle is a challenge. Your first instinct is to type the whole thing in but you have to remember to type every single letter that was used in a phrase. That is tougher than it sounds, but then in my case, I get typos on my own WPs so it kind of evens out if I forget to type in every letter

Loved the puzzle. I found it partly cloudy with periods of clear sky.

Enjoyed the puzzle a lot - got lucky with the score - the clues all made sense and the words fell into place - and no Latin this time!!

Bbear - You didn't try very hard! You only used a total of 20 moves; that's an average of 4 letters/puzzle. Instructions to authors were quite clear - fill in all the letters. It was a really great puzzle though. Thanks for writing it!

Don’t know why
There’s no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather

No really, it was a good puzzle Thanks BBear
