I have noticed that very few new quizzes have been published in the last 12 hours or so. Is there a technical problem, Editor's strike (Lol), or what?

Personally I'm trying to work thru the backlog of Trivia Squares, keep ahead of you with new WTHAI photos, and answering Support Tickets.

And just as an FYI - business booms in summer time - more folks have extra free time to write more quizzes, and the editors all take some vacation time during which they can't edit regularly (although we ALL check in from our vacation destinations! Bless those hotels with free wireless internet )

So yeah, things are moving a bit slower...but the SQAG warns you that a quiz could take up to 30 days to get launched! I'd say plan on about 10 days lag time, and then you'll be pleasantly surprised when you get a launch in less than that!

This was not meant as a criticism. I was just eager for my quiz to get published. I am well aware that the editors have a great deal to do. Thanks for your response.

Got the avatar from Justin's selection. Being only a mere smear gold member I can't have or create one of my very own. Please don't think that it is a jot of a tittle of a reflection of my character. I think it's kind of fun though. BTW: I have always wanted to see a real live wild moose but not too close up! Every time I go to my friends house in Maine I hope to see one (he assures me he has seen them there). I've had no luck so far.

Dear Wordster....
Please know that I don't have my choice of Avatar either.
Most of us had to choose one of Justin's offerings - even if
we are Platinum Splatinum members....
I chose a cute baby Penguin.
Other people have kittens, puppies, horses etc.
I too am repulsed by your "pet" and don't think a Moose
would be much of an improvement !!!!

They have over the counter products that take care of that. You know, Milk of Magnesia, Metamucil, Fiber One.....

I love your squatting penguin. The spider....oooow... can it sit down beside the penguin? Oh no that's Miss Muffet

Platinum members (even the Schplatinums) should be able to load in their own avatar photo now. I did it a few days ago (after someone else started using my baby polar bear - I kept seeing posts that I thought I had written! Nobody else better be using my baby picture!!)

However I believe the photo loader doesn't always work well in Safari or Internet Explorer. It works fine in Firefox for sure.
