WORD PUZZLES. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Regarding Word Puzzles, It seems kind of strange that the more letters you guess the more points you get, therefore if you answer the puzzle in few moves you get less points than if you guessed every single letter. And the whole point is to guess in as few as moves as possible. I understand that if you are in the top 10 you get a lot of points but anything after that there isnít much difference say getting between 11tth and 100th. If you guessed every letter you could easily get 500 points plus the points you get for your rank and end up getting more points than someone that answered it in less moves. My idea is that you should get a greater amount of points for guessing in fewer turns. For ex: Each letter is worth 10 points so if you have a 10 letter word then the puzzle is worth 100 points if you get it in two moves you get 80 points. I love word puzzles and they have become my new favorite, but it is very frustrating trying to get any real points on it.

To make my point clearer I once got 2000 points for a word puzzle set, plus the additional 200 points for my spot on the board. That is as good, or better than 10th place plus I didnít have to try as hard. It just doesnít seem to add up right.

I have contacted sploofus support about this but havenít received any ideas on it yet.

I wanted to ask all of you if you thought the same way as me or if I am blowing things out of proportion.
