NEGATIVE OLD WOMAN

I really am a negative old woman looking back over my most recent posts. Too late for a sex life -perhaps I need a hobby other than complaining-think?? Linda

So I hear.

Heidi - Linda, I wouldn't say you are negative. I read many posts from you and feel you are very matter-of-fact in what you say with your opinions.
I suppose what makes the world an interesting place is when many people have different opinions and outlooks on things, and just because some disagree doesn't make them right or wrong.

I've been told by a 73-year-old friend of mine it gets better with each decade. I'm 52 - so far she's right!

think it's like riding a bicycle -- once you learn how you never forget how to do it, no matter how long it's been since you did it??? You know, ride a bicycle.

I find the bicycles are cold and disengaged after I ride them.

Smaug, it would truly disappoint me if you found anything I said of interest other then hunting for my typos ( don't have to look far) and all- -thus a thread started by me-one of the reasons I give thanks daily that we are different-note: find many of your posts offensive but clever but of no interest to me as they are often cryptic and at times downright hurtful-you do have the right to your opinions though as well as your right to say and do as you please-Linda

When God created Adam and Eve He was about out of tricks in his trick bag. He had two left and decided to offer them up to his new children. He asked who wanted the first one and Adam starting jumping up and down and yelling "pick me pick me", so Eve said "let him go first if it means that much to him". God reached in his bag and pulled out "the ability to write you name in the snow". Adam was so happy about this and ran off to try it. Then God reached in his bag....and the last thing he had was multiple org....sms. Women rule!

Thanks. That's a good one.

Reminds me of the guy who was very very upset about something, sitting at the bar drinking, and the barkeep asks him what's wrong.
"It's my neighbor-- I keep seeing his name written in the snow."

Barkeep says "What's so bad about that?"
"It's my wife's handwriting."

Hey Doc, I heard the handwriting joke on the annual Prairie Home Companion April Fools show. Cracked me up then, too.

Smaug that alpha male plays an important role on Sploofus island. Ignore the things that big you and read some of the other things - you'll be surprised.
