I have given up even thinking about that elusive Editors Award, but I have been writing quizzes that I thought would be popular with quiz takers. For example, my Groundhog Day quiz. I would have taken a quiz on Groundhog Day, so tell me please why only 10 people have taken this quiz? I really want to know what would have made this quiz more popular. Thanks! Alice

I checked out your stats and you're in the 'Top 100'. This is great and something to be proud of.

I also see that you have received the Editor's Award for Do You Remember Cherry Ames? Another feat to be proud of.

I also glanced at your quiz on Groundhogs and spotted 6 star difficulty. I'm not touching that one! I try to go for the easier quizzes to help my Sploofactor.

You should be appreciative of the good facts and not knock people for not taking your quiz. You didn't get into the top 100 by people not taking quizzes. I think the words would be 'thank you for placing me in the top 100!' would be suitable here.

2 cents!

I have never been able to figure out why some quizzes take off and others die an ignoble death! Even quizzes on the same topic by a variety of authors that come out around the same time...some do well and some don't!

You just never know what's gonna strike people at any given time. Personally though, I was waiting until Feb 2nd to take the Groundhog Day quiz

I kept trying to come up with good quizzes, then I finally wrote one on McDonald's on a whim and it suddenly got over 1,000 takers. I've never come that close with anything. So then I made "McDonalds Madness - The Dessert Menu" thinking that it would get me somewhere, but the world's interest in the fast food industry suddenly dropped off the face of the planet.

You win some, you lose some, it's very hit and miss.

In which category did you place your quiz? Sometimes, so many new quizzes get posted that your quiz just didn't get enough time on the front page!
