I have had a few squares kicked back (very justifiably) because my pictures had the answer in them in words. But I just took one on Jimi Hendrix and the answers are all over the pictures.

Not complaining; I think the editors are absolutely right and that the answer should not be directly shown in the picture. However, why the discrepancy?

Any thoughts?

Hi Beth,
I found the trivia square on Jimi Hendrix and there were 2 that showed the answers it the pictures. I agree that the stipulations that you met should have been required of these two pictures as well.

I will bring this to the attention of the rest of the editors so that we can all be on the same page with this in the future.

Thanks. It was not a criticism;, just an observation. I love the squares no matter what. The most frustrating thing is mis-spellings. Please, folks, triple check before you launch because after that it is set in stone.

Love them

Hi Bbear,
I had something a little similar happen to me in regards to quiz titles. It seems to be whomever you get as editor, and I still see quizzes, since, that have come out that are allowed to do with their titles, what I was not allowed to do. I feel like I should be able to have mine amended back to my original titles. Then I also know of separate instance, other than mine, in regards to a quiz title being refused and then seeing other titles in similar fashion to the refused one. As far as I know, this particular issue had been cleared up.
So you'll probably get an apology and that it needs to be reported if someone finds anything of that nature. And other up & coming trivia squares will probably still be "overlooked" even after your observance has been read. I know editors are probably going over a bunch of info but a lot of discrepancies on a rule, that looks to be fairly apparent, might incite one to think that maybe they're having too many of those editor's parties .

No, not quite. Maybe, if you offer to bring the right refreshments, you might get an invite.

If I hear of something, I'll keep you in mind from now on.
