SHOUT

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that the "Shout Box" in the WR/WM is open to everyone. If you don't see a "shout" for some time, just jump in and say "hi". It's not only allowed...it's encouraged!!!

Sometimes the only way you get to meet new people is to take the first "sigh" and join in!!

Me.

I think Shout is only for paying members. I don't have a place to type in any messages - I can only read what you all are shouting about!

And the rest of us can't talk in the shout box because Chick talks on there and most of us are trying to avoid her.

Hey,
Yeah, I didn't get the option to shout til I paid up the other day. So now you can all listen to my rantings on the shout out board as well as in here!

Moredi: Fork over the 15 bucks for 6 months. You will get rid of annoying popups and you will be able to play the word puzzles twice a day. I recommend it.

I was wondering about the Shout box. How does one send a shout to the Shout box? Is it only for the paying members or can the free sploofusers shout too?

Well, no hard feelings, but I'm a platinum member and when I shout, I just get ignored. I figured it's a clique in the shout territory, so I stopped trying. I've had enough being ignored during my lifetime to encourage more of it. But thanks for the offer!

Sorry you feel that way Flcyclist, I'll talk to you if I see you shout, even if I don't have much time I'll at least say hi! I felt that way at first too, but one chick and Luvn were the first to talk to me, seems like I was always ignored otherwise. I don't have to know you well to talk, I do remember you from the vegetarian group....

It's fun to read the shouts. Sometimes I just read them...sometimes I chime in...I love when Stoutyyoung ladd gets on Chicks list. It's pretty funny..

The Shout and Salty Dog forums take time to get acquainted. It's about like marrying into a family and for the first while you don't know the inside jokes and sometimes everyone talks around you because you don't know the history of the family. But in time, as you listen and observe, you become one of the "gang" and they greet you warmly by name and ask about you when you don't show up for a few days.

And sometimes on Shout no one is there at that precise moment - they may be sleeping or they may be trying to bump someone off a good time on the Word Rounds.

I was like a persistent mosquito, I just kept showing up and putting in my 2 cents' worth, and eventually I caught on to the jokes and some of the history. Now I feel like one of the family.
