Inspiring Lyrics–"Just as I Am"
Puppyfoot on 07/11/2009
|If you have attended or watched a Billy Graham Crusade, chances are you have heard the hymn "Just as I Am" sung during the altar call. Written by Charlotte Elliott in 1835, the lyrics have been sung to several different tunes. "Woodworth," the tune used in the Billy Graham Crusades, is also the one commonly used in the United Methodist Church and some other churches. That tune was written by William B. Bradbury and is the one to which the hymn was first set.|
In this kerblunk are some lyrics from "Just as I Am." Your job is to fill in the missing word from each phrase.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: I realize that many hymns have different versions of lyrics because they have been revised over the years. If you feel that any of the "wrong" answers on this quiz are actually correct and can send me information verifying this, I will gladly consider changing the answers. Thanks for your help.
