Since 1996, Vatican has been a fixture on the Carnival scene as the co-creator and performer of Professor Carl Nivale, Mardi Gras expert and mascot for the WWL-TV 4 Morning Show. As The Professor, Vatican has worked extensively with several krewes, including the Knights of Sparta, the Krewe of Morpheus, and the Krewe of Pygmalion.
