I am unable to participate in a WordPuzzle

Depending on your Sploofus subscription type you are only able to participate in a certain number of WordPuzzles per week. WordPuzzles require that you have the latest version of your web browser installed, and that you have JavaScript (scripting) and cookies fully enabled in your web browser's preferences.

You may need to upgrade your Internet connection or web browser. The Sploofus web site utilizes advanced technologies on both the client (your web browser) and the server (the Sploofus computers). On the client side, these technologies include asynchronous JavaScript and XML processing. While time delays, also known as lag or network latency, are typically attributed to the network they can also be caused by client-side browser and resource issues.

To be sure that your computer is not the culprit, ensure that you are using the most recent version of your web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari). Verify that your web browser has scripting/JavaScript fully enabled, and that it is accepting cookies from Sploofus.com.

For optimum performance and to properly enjoy WordPuzzles, the Firefox web browser is HIGHLY recommended. It is also to your advantage if your computer has at least 512MB of RAM, 800 MHz CPU, Windows XP or Mac OS X 10.3.5, and a broadband Internet connection.
