In 2011, Rolling Stone magazine surveyed a panel of great guitarists and other experts in the field, asking them to rank their favorite guitarists and to give reasons for what made them so special. They published the results with some fascinating explanations of the musicians' expertise, written in many cases by other famous guitarists. Here in this quiz are the guitarists that came in 41st through 50th place, along with some of the descriptions of their mastery from the magazine's contributors.
