Finally it has come around! My 100th Quiz and a year as a Sploofus member. I want to thank you all for your suffering and composure during this whirlwind period. All there is to do now is crack open the bottle of Glenfiddich and let in the dancing girls. 1977 was a momentous year in my life but I won't go into any sordid details about that in this quiz, I promise. See what you can remember about this year. All questions are self explanatory and I have tried to make it easier than an earlier quiz of mine that was similar. Gotta go - scantily clad girls are filing through my door singing "Feel Like Making Love"..

L you are a hard taskmaster Just took your 1977 quiz. Great year for me and all Got drunk in just about every western European country, including Britain, Saints won the GF and I turned 21 Great quiz
On question one Jimmy Cater was elected in 1976 and took the oath of office in 1977. Question as written is misleading.
