Stress comes from everywhere: work, family, friends, enemies, money, health, etc. according to surveys by the American Psychological Association. The key to dealing with stress isn't so much what is affecting you, but rather how you react to it. If you overreact to any of these factors, your stress response is set off and hormones such as adrenalin and cortisol are released initiating the physical and emotional biplay of the "fight or flight" syndrome. Sometimes, a fast fix is just as effective, or even better than a complicated stress-reduction program.
