Dr. Lisa Turner puts it this way: "It's not so much the behavior itself that sabotages our attempts to lead a healthier lifestyle, it's the unconscious thinking that underlies that behavior." As a researcher and author of the books, 'Largely Happy' and
'Healthy Kids, Happy Kids' I found this quiz fascinating. The
true reason we don't lose weight, however, is because our
bodies are programmed to defend fat and fight back, even after
bariatric surgery, when food intake is minimal - it's all stored
as fat. So size-acceptance and health should always be the
priorities. Very interesting quiz indeed. Thanks.
