A Confederacy Of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole
Sperg on 08/07/2008
|One of my all-time favorite novels - featuring the one and only Ignatius J. Reilly, thirty-year old self-proclaimed genius out to reform the entire twentieth century.|
The tragedy of the book is the tragedy of the author - his suicide in 1969 at the age of thirty-two, thereby denying us a potential great body of work.
If you haven't read this Pulitzer Prize ripsnorter, I highly suggest you run to your nearest book dealer and pick up a copy.
