A Gaggle of -itis

scrabqScrabq on 09/20/2009

Trivia Quiz Anything with -itis on the end of it is usually a medical term about an inflammation of some organ or body part. But here's the trick - it isn't always. There are a number of words where -itis is the plural of -iti. I'm not going to tell you which group the word belongs to. That will be your job, to decide if the word is an inflammation or a heap of something else.

Enjoy!
