Welcome to the "A Musical Offering" challenge quizzes. This is the fourth edition of a 'Community Quiz' game. Quiz authors who chose to take part in this game create quizzes with "A Musical Offering" in the title. No one knows what the others will come up with, so it is a game for both authors and quiz takers. All of them appear in the 'Community Quizzes' category. You are encouraged to take all of the quizzes in this group, compare them, rate them and send comments to the authors. As a kid I took organ lessons for 8 years. I actually hated it, but took them hoping one day my mom would turn our old organ in for a piano and the transition would be easy. But that never happened. So I suffered endless practice sessions and my personal performances for my grandmother every other Sunday when she came over to visit (I don't know how many times I played "When the Saints Go Marching In" for her!) - all to no avail. The one good thing that came out of it was my trivial knowledge about songs, artists and composers - often ones I would never have listened to or heard of otherwise. For my musical offering I will be asking 10 questions about one of the oldest instruments in Western music - the organ, as well as some questions about songs played on the organ and famous organists (both past and present).
