A Poet's Dog
![]() |
This should be easier than my previous poetry quizzes. I will give you biographical information about a writer, several lines from a poem, and then the poem's title. You name the writer. Each poem takes as its subject a dog. Actually, many address the death of a dog. This was unintentional. In any case, take your time, enjoy the poems, and have fun!

Excellent! Certainly, I am an idiot for snapping off "Descartes" instead of "Pascal," but A. A. Milne is "best remembered as a playwright"? Not by most people. Anyway, well done. In this sea of witless and boring quizzes, "A Poet's Dog" stands out.
