I have recently gone through absolute hell to get a visa to visit relatives in Spain. Two months of to'ing and fro'ing, bureaucratic nonsense, and correspondence and still no visa. Here's the Catch-22 to end all Catch-22's: In order to get the visa I have to get an official letter from the Spanish Police stating that I will be staying with my aunt and uncle while in Spain. In order to get the letter my aunt has to prove that I am her nephew. However, if she DOES prove that I'm her nephew, the police won't give her the letter because they don't want African visitors staying with relatives in Spain. They have to book, and pay for accomodation because of illegal immigration problems. I eventually resorted to getting a visa through the German Embassy without ANY hassles. I simply showed that I had the means to support myself while in Europe, that I was employed back home, and that I'd been to Europe several times before. Anyway, my visa woes gave me an idea for a quiz, and here it is. I hope you enjoy it.
