America Divided - O.J. Simpson and the Trial
![]() |
America and perhaps many in the entire world watched the saga unfold in the O.J. Simpson trial. There were very few folks who did not hold an opinion as to his guilt or innocence before the verdict came in from the jury. Unfortunately the opinions were pretty much divided by racial lines (with exceptions). Mainstream America in 1994 pretty much believed that a certain harmony had been reached between Blacks and Whites. This trial changed those beliefs. Sources report that had the jury returned with a "guilty" verdict, there was fear on the part of authorities that riots similar to Watts might erupt. I will attempt not to let my opinions cloud this quiz. I used multiple sources. Most of us became very sick of the trial as it was televised nonstop. Perhaps enough time has elapsed that it is now of interest. You will find no dates nor numbers in this quiz as I personally dislike those in quizzes. You will be asked to name people, things, and places. Hope you score well and enjoy!
