I wonder if there has been any scholarly research undertaken with respect to the incidence of criminal wrongdoing among elected politicians compared to other occupational groups? It sure seems to me that the rate of criminality among our elected public servants is unfortunately high and highly unfortunate. This quiz is about elected officials who served time, or who are currently serving time, for their crimes. With one exception, all questions concern American politicians sent to prison within the last 40 years; indeed, most of our members of this Hall of Shame were sent to the slammer in the 1990s or 2000s. I cheated, I am from Illinois so I had an advantage over the other participants. However, you missed Paul Powell, Ill. Sec. of State, that passed away and in his office after his death was $800,000 in small bills in shoe boxes.
